Aeonium "Kiwi" produces brightly colored variegated rosettes edged with hot pink margins. As “Kiwi” continues to age, it will reward you with classy yellow flowers in the summer. Unfortunately, because this is a monocarpic plant, it will die after flowering. To save your plant for future blooms, propagate the non-blooming stems before they die.

Plants within the Aeonium genus come in a range of shapes, sizes, and colors due to the wide spread of locations they naturally grow in. Most of the commercially available varieties have been chosen for their vibrant foliage, and will eventually grow from compact rosettes to many-stemmed shrublets. Aeonium can be pruned and re-planted for a more tidy appearance, and are easily propagated through stem cuttings. Aeonium plants generally grow during the winter and go dormant during the summer, during which they need less frequent watering.
