The Brooklyn White fig, sometimes referred to as the Naples White fig, is a larger than normal fig with a very attractive yellowish / golden white skin color. This is a very nice light tasting fig that can ripen throughout the season and up until a killing frost. Reportedly tracing its beginnings in this country back to New York City where it was planted by early immigrants, it has an appealing coloration that is only enhanced by its honey and strawberry tasting fruits. This is a really nice and quality fruit producing fig for your garden.
