Chicago Hardy, also know as Bensonhurst Purple fig, originated from Sicily. Has a medium-sized fruit that ripens to a dark purple fruit that's sweet and juicy. Excellent for eating straight off the tree. This fig grows well in containers and is heat tolerant. Self-pollinating.
