The Tiger fig has an especially fine flavor and is much sought by fig lovers. Also called the Panache fig, the fruit is small to medium sized with a green color and yellow 'tiger' stripes. The fruit from your Panache Tiger fig tree has strawberry colored pulp and is self fertile, needing minimal winter chilling to produce an abundant crop that bears in late summer and continues on until fall. A very tasty and wonderful fruit for making fig conserves or just eating right off the tree!
