Albuca Spiralis “Frizzle Sizzle” is a geophyte, a perennial plant which grows from an underground bulb or tuber (think potatoes or daffodils). “Frizzle Sizzle” grows up to 8” tall with a cluster of corkscrew-shaped leaves and a single flower stalk in the middle. The vanilla scented blooms are bright yellow and bell shaped, surrounded by light green sepals.

“Frizzle Sizzle” grows best in very well-drained, loose soil with the top of the bulb exposed. Albuca grows during the winter and blooms during spring, before going dormant during the summer when water should be given sparingly. Grow in full sun for tighter curls on the leaves.
