As a native of Madagascar, Rhipsalis horrida will benefit from being out of direct, harsh sunlight and she likes to grow on the dry side. Drooping limbs that originate at the base almost cry out to be living in a hanging basket in a partly shaded patio. Featuring late winter/early spring near white blooms, this jungle cactus is a subspecies of Rhipsalis baccifera, but looks quite different. A dark green, slim plant with noodle-like foliage, stems are pale green and branch from the base, covered with reddish-brown bristly spines. A striking and fun succulent to add to your collection.
